River Run Park Grand Opening To Feature Drone And Fireworks Show

NORTHPORT, AL — River Run Park will welcome guests for the first time with a grand opening celebration on Friday, Aug. 16, highlighted by what organizers are calling the Tuscaloosa area’s first-ever combined drone and fireworks show.

The festivities are set to begin at 8:30 p.m.

The event will feature a synchronized drone show paired with a traditional fireworks show — a first-of-its-kind presentation for the region.

The grand opening event is free and open to the public.
