Rosedale Court Shooting Victim Stable; Juvenile Suspects In Custody
A suspect is in custody after a juvenile male was shot during a fight at Rosedale Court.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β Two juveniles are in custody and another juvenile male is recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest after a Saturday morning shooting at Rosedale Court apartments.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multi-agency unit, said Tuscaloosa Police were called to the scene at 11:29 a.m. and found the male victim had been shot.

"After speaking with witnesses and reviewing evidence it was found that the victim and another juvenile male got into a fight," Kennedy said in an update Sunday afternoon. "During the fight a juvenile female produced a gun and shot the victim. The victim was unable to make a statement due to being treated by medical personnel for his injuries."
Kennedy went on to say that witnesses and the suspect provided investigators with details of the shooting and the female suspect was charged with attempted murder as well as certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.

Both the female suspect and the other juvenile male involved in the fight with the victim are being held at the Tuscaloosa County Juvenile Detention Center.
The other male involved in the fight was also charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
