Schnellecke Logistics To Host Hiring Fair Thursday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — West AlabamaWorks! on Thursday announced that Schnellecke Logistics will host a hiring event on Jan. 11 at the Tuscaloosa Career Center.

Held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the hiring event will see recruiters onsite and intends to extend contingent job offers during the event.

Schnellecke Logistics says various positions are available across multiple departments and shifts, including forklift operators, tugger operators, sequencers, material packers, sorters, quality clerks, inventory clerks, and team leaders.

“Schnellecke Logistics has grown to over 1,000 team members in Alabama since launching the 1st program with Mercedes in 2017," Schnellecke's DJ Horton said. "We believe in growing and promoting our talent internally, affording every team member an opportunity to further their career with the company. The event will be hosted at the Tuscaloosa Career Center, which is located at 202 Skyland Drive in Tuscaloosa.

The company says it will have recruiters onsite and intends to extend contingent job offers during the event and also said various positions are available across multiple departments and shifts, including forklift operators, tugger operators, sequencers, material packers, sorters, quality clerks, inventory clerks, and team leaders.

“Schnellecke Logistics is offering up to $18 an hour and employees are eligible for a $50 a week attendance bonus,” Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama CWO and West AlabamaWorks! Executive Director Donny Jones. “This is a great opportunity for those looking for employment in the West Alabama region."
