TUSCALOOSA, AL — A popular drive-thru coffee shop will host a single-day event that will see part of the proceeds given to Tuscaloosa City Schools.

Scooter's Coffee — located 632 15th Street in Tuscaloosa — announced its "Day of Giving" on July 23, which will be held along with the New Heights Community Resource Center.

The company said 25% of all sales will be donated to help underprivileged children in the city school system get the school supplies they need for the upcoming academic year.
