Search Efforts Recover Body Of Missing Tuscaloosa County Man

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit confirmed Tuesday that a missing Tuscaloosa County man has been found dead.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit confirmed Tuesday that a missing Tuscaloosa County man has been found dead and foul play is not suspected.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media that the family of Brian Christian Carroll reported him missing on Nov. 17 after not seeing or hearing from him since Nov. 15.

Kennedy said deputies searched for Carroll throughout the weekend, issued BOLO bulletins, and attempted a phone ping/trace, but were unsuccessful.

He then said search efforts on Monday eventually located Carroll's body in a wooded area.

"At this time, there are no signs of foul play," Kennedy said.
