Shelton State Announces 2024-25 Dual Enrollment Ambassadors

Shelton State Community College on Monday announced its 2024-25 cohort of Dual Enrollment Ambassadors.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Shelton State Community College on Monday announced its 2024-25 cohort of Dual Enrollment Ambassadors.

The group of 14 students was selected from local high schools and will serve as mentors for current and prospective dual enrollment students throughout the academic year.

The Dual Enrollment Ambassadors will also assist with various activities and serve as a resource for students navigating the dual enrollment program, providing guidance and support.

“We are so proud of these students for stepping up in such an important way,” Shelton State Director of Dual Enrollment Beverly Foster said. “We know from previous years how helpful it is to have students in this role, and we look forward to another successful experience with this group.”

  • Jareah Branch – Hillcrest High School
  • Sadie Mancil – Hillcrest High School
  • Estefani Delgado Mejia – Paul W. Bryant High School
  • Gracie Dice – North River Christian Academy
  • Logan Dockery – Tuscaloosa Christian School
  • Ryan Hodges – Brookwood High School
  • Hope Johnson – Brookwood High School
  • Christopher Knight – Northridge High School
  • Fatima Murillo Vargas – Central High School
  • Jade Pollard – Holt High School
  • Sherlyn Vazquez – Holt High School
  • Maggie Shewmake – Tuscaloosa County High School
  • Talon Whetstone – Tuscaloosa County High School
