Stillman's Farrah Pearson Earns Preseason All-HBCUAC Honors
Stillman College's Farrah Pearson has been selected to the HBCUAC Preseason All-Conference Second Team.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College women's basketball standout Farrah Pearson has been selected to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Preseason All-Conference Second Team.

Pearson, a senior from Huntsville, was the only Stillman College basketball player from the school's men's and women's teams to receive preseason honors.

The Stillman College women's basketball team was also picked to finish third in the conference after receiving one first-place vote, while the men's team was picked to finish fifth in the conference after also receiving a single first-place vote.
Pearson was also named a Southern States Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Second Team All-Conference selection for the 2023-2024 season after averaging 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds while starting all 27 games for Stillman.

Stillman College women's basketball will begin the season with an exhibition on Oct. 28 at the University of West Alabama in Livingston.
The men's team will tip off its season on Nov. 1 against the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in a tournament hosted in Pulaski, Tennessee.
