Suspect In Custody After Fatal Shooting In Tuscaloosa Thursday Morning

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, told local media Thursday afternoon that officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded at approximately 3 a.m. to the scene of a traffic crash.

Kennedy said the responding officers found that the female victim had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was identified as Brunesha Renee McIntosh 28, with Kennedy saying her murder was believed to be the result of a domestic altercation.

Kennedy then said Ladarious Jaquan Bullock, 25, was developed as a suspect after processing the scene for physical evidence, obtaining video surveillance, and interviewing several witnesses.
Bullock was taken into custody outside of Tuscaloosa County and Kennedy said warrants have been obtained for capital murder.
