Sweet Grown Alabama Day Set For Saturday At Tuscaloosa Farmers Market

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa Farmers Market is gearing up to host Sweet Grown Alabama Day on Saturday, July 26.

The event will be held from 7 a.m. until noon at the Tuscaloosa River Market as a way to encourage Alabama residents to support local farmers.

Activities will include like live music by Colin and the Crickets, along with over 50 farmers and artisan vendors to shop from.

The Farmers Market is held year-round on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

Sweet Grown Alabama is a non-profit foundation that "enhances marketing opportunities for Alabama farmers by connecting retailers and consumers to Alabama-grown foods and other agricultural products."
