Tuscaloosa County School System CSFO Danny Higdon Earns Statewide Honor

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa County School System Chief School Financial Officer Danny Higdon has been selected by The Alabama Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) as this year’s recipient of the Robert L. Morton Award.

The honor is named after Robert L. Morton — former assistant superintendent of administration and finance for the Alabama State Department of Education.

Higdon, a graduate of the University of Alabama, has worked for the Tuscaloosa County School System since 2005.
