TCSS Destroying Special Education Records For Students Born In 1998

TCSS announced on Wednesday that it will be destroying special education records of students who were born in the year 1998.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β€” The Tuscaloosa County School System (TCSS) announced on Wednesday that it will be destroying special education records of students who were born in the year 1998.

TCSS says the records are being destroyed because they have been maintained for the maximum amount of years as prescribed by Federal law {290-8-9.08(2).

The announcement was made to allow those who want access to such records time to submit requests before the June 10 deadline.

The records will be destroyed on June 13.
