Tenderfoot Golf Classic Set For May 10 At Ol' Colony

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Black Warrior Council of the Boy Scouts of America will host its 45th annual Tenderfoot Golf Classic on Friday, May 10.

Billed as the oldest continuous golf tournament in west Alabama, tee times at Ol' Colony Golf Club are set for 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., offering four-person teams and a scramble format.

Proceeds from the event will Black Warrior Council, which has Cub Scout Packs, Scout Troops, Venturing Crews and Explorer Posts throughout its 12-county service area: Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Hale, Pickens, Walker, Winston, Fayette, Sumter, Lamar, Marion, Marengo, and Greene counties.
