The Drish House — located at 2300 17th Street — is a stuccoed brick mansion built in 1837 that has a long history of purported hauntings.
Made famous by Kathryn Tucker Windham's story in "13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey," the mansion has been reported to exhibit supernatural phenomena such as ghostly lights and mysterious fires in the third-story tower.
Organizers say the ghost hunt will proceed rain or shine and tickets are non-refundable, though credits may be issued for future events if notice is given more than 24 hours before the event.
