Tickets On Sale For Salvation Army's Empty Bowl Fundraiser

The Salvation Army in Tuscaloosa is set to host its second annual Empty Bowl fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Salvation Army in Tuscaloosa is set to host its second annual Empty Bowl fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

The goal of the annual fundraiser is to raise money for The Salvation Army’s feeding program., which fed over 51,000 meals to those in need last year.

Partnering restaurants include Outback, Longhorns, Olive Garden, Milos, and Texas Roadhouse.

A silent auction will also be held.

Tickets are priced at $25 each and the event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The price of each ticket covers soup, bread and a dessert from local restaurants, along with a keepsake empty bowl to commemorate the occasion.
