TUSCALOOSA, AL — Crimson Tide shortstop Justin Lebron has been named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week after huge performances against Samford and Ole Miss.

The honor marks the second of Lebron's career and the third for the team this year.

During this successful stretch, the freshman from Miramar, Florida, led the Crimson Tide in nearly every offensive category with 10 hits, three home runs, 21 total bases and nine runs.
He also logged three straight three-hit performances to open the week while adding one hit in the final game in Oxford against the Rebels.

Against Samford, he posted at least two RBI in three of the four games, including one four-RBI game against the Bulldogs.
Alabama (28-16, 9-12 SEC) will return to action Friday night when the team travels to Starkville to take on Mississippi State.
