Tide's Milroe Named Finalist For Manning Award

The Katy, Texas native is one of 10 finalists for the Manning Award, which will be announced in January.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama sophomore quarterback Jalen Milroe has been named a finalist for the Manning Award, which is presented annually by the Allstate Sugar Bowl to the nation's top quarterback.

The Katy, Texas native is one of 10 finalists for the Manning Award, which is the only award that takes into consideration a candidate's bowl performance.

During the 2023 season, Milroe has completed 158-of-238 passes for 2,526 yards and 21 touchdowns, while adding 439 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.

The winner of the prestigious honor will be announced in January.

Mac Jones was the first Crimson Tide quarterback to win the award in 2020 and was followed by Bryce Young a year later in 2021.
