Tide's Proctor Earns SEC Jacobs Blocking Trophy

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama junior left tackle Kadyn Proctor on Wednesday was named a co-recipient of the 2025 Southeastern Conference Jacobs Blocking Trophy.

Awarded annually since 1935 to the SEC’s top blocker, Proctor is the 26th Alabama player to win the trophy and the first Crimson Tide lineman to earn the distinction since Landon Dickerson and Alex Leatherwood shared the award in 2020.

Proctor, an Iowa native, has anchored Alabama’s offensive line throughout the 2025 season, starting all 13 games and helping the Tide reach the College Football Playoff as the No. 9 seed.

He has played 883 snaps at left tackle and posted an 84.3 overall grade from Pro Football Focus — the second-highest mark among SEC offensive tackles.

A dominant force in both pass protection and the run game, Proctor allowed just one sack in 534 pass-blocking snaps and has not allowed a sack in 12-straight games since the season opener against Florida State.

Proctor also contributed in a rare role for a lineman, carrying the ball five times for 16 rushing yards and three first downs.
