TPD Working To Locate Suspect In Culver Road Hit-And-Run That Injured Two Women
TPD is asking for help locating a driver suspected of striking and injuring two women in a hit-and-run on Culver Road Saturday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β The Tuscaloosa Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit is asking for the community's help locating a driver suspected of striking and injuring two women in a hit-and-run on Culver Road Saturday.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told local media that the speeding driver hit the women at 1:47 a.m., then continued west on Culver Road without stopping.

She then said the women had been at a nightclub, Spades Lounge, and were crossing to the parking area.
Taylor also said a witness performed CPR on one of the victims before both were transported by ambulance to DCH Regional Medical Center.

TPD says one woman remained hospitalized as of Tuesday and officers believe the suspect vehicle could be a dark gray or black Dodge Charger or Dodge Challenger similar to those in the picture below.

Taylor said the car likely has front-end damage, in addition to potential damage to the hood and/or windshield.
