“We’re building excellence at TA," Head of School Beckie Share said. "We are well on our way to our goal, and it will take all of us to finish strong. Every single gift—large or small—will help us build a legacy that elevates the TA and Tuscaloosa area experience for generations to come.”

“This is more than a building — it’s an investment in every student’s experience and the future of our school community,” Share said. “Our students are thriving in academics, the arts, and athletics, and now it’s time for our facilities to reflect the caliber of our programs and the size of our ambitions.”

Supporter and West Alabama businessman Ric Mayers is also playing a key role in the campaign and said the project "isn’t just about Tuscaloosa Academy — it’s about Tuscaloosa.”

“Strong schools make strong communities," he said. "This Athletic Center will inspire pride, opportunity, and connection for generations to come.”
