TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa this week announced it is accepting applications for the Jemison Van de Graaff Board of Directors.

The city says the board is responsible for setting policies for the house's ongoing operations–overseeing restoration priorities, scheduling public access and directing long-term sustainability efforts.

Board members will also collaborate to guide the foundation in preserving the historic landmark by maintaining its operations and engaging the community through programming and fundraising.

Eligible members must be residents of Tuscaloosa and be available to attend monthly meetings and various scheduled volunteer work days.
