TCS earned the distinction for its districtwide “What’s Your E?” initiative, which aims to help students explore and pursue individualized post-graduation pathways in enrollment, enlistment, or employment.

“We believe every student deserves a clear path and strong support system to help them reach their goals,” TCS Director of College & Career Readiness Kelly Norstrom said. “This award affirms our commitment to ensuring that all students are equipped with the tools, guidance, and opportunities to thrive after high school — no matter which ‘E’ they choose.”

The initiative also aligns grades 6–12 advisement programs with national best practices, providing students with a team of counselors, teachers, and career coaches who work collaboratively to develop personalized academic and career plans.

TCS leaders say the “What’s Your E?” initiative transforms the high school experience into a purpose-driven journey, linking classroom learning with long-term aspirations and ensuring students graduate with confidence and direction.
