“National Board Certification represents a powerful affirmation of a teacher’s skill and impact,” TCS Director of Strategic Initiatives Andrew Maxey said. “We are incredibly proud of these educators for pursuing this rigorous process and demonstrating such an exceptional level of commitment to their students. Their success strengthens every classroom in our district.”
The district says it has expanded training, mentorship and financial supports for teachers pursuing certification as part of its strategic plan to ensure students have access to highly effective educators.
TCS says it will recognize its newly certified educators with a series of celebrations in January during National Board Certified Teacher Month.
