Tuscaloosa To Observe 'Sweet Grown Alabama Day' On Saturday
The City of Tuscaloosa Farmers Market is set to host Sweet Grown Alabama Day on Saturday, July 13.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa Farmers Market is set to host Sweet Grown Alabama Day on Saturday, July 13.

The event will be from 7 a.m. until noon at the Tuscaloosa River Market to inspire people across the state to support Alabama's farmers.

The day will include activities during the weekly Saturday Market including a paint-by-numbers community art project, live music by Jacob Kynard and over 50 farmers and artisan vendors.
The City of Tuscaloosa says Sweet Grown Alabama is a non-profit foundation that enhances marketing opportunities for Alabama farmers by connecting retailers and consumers to Alabama grown foods and other agricultural products.
