Tuscaloosa Police Investigating Fatal Monday Morning Crash

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Police Department investigators are presently on the scene of a fatal single-vehicle crash.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told local media the crash occurred in the 4500 block of 45th Street East near Hargrove Road.

She said a resident called TPD at 8:07 a.m. Monday morning to report that an SUV had struck her fence.

Taylor then said the female driver was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics and officers arrived minutes later.

No other details have been made public at the time of this article's publication.
