Tuscaloosa Police Investigating Wednesday Morning Shooting That Injured One

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says officers responded after gunshots were reported around 8:45 a.m.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told local media that a male victim was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center with injuries. His condition is not known at this time.
She also said several houses in the area of Elm Street and Pine Street were struck.

The investigation is now being handled by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
