Tuscaloosa Police Looking For Suspects After Stolen ATM Recovered

Tuscaloosa Police are investigating a case involving a stolen automated teller machine (ATM) from a local bank.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Police are investigating a case involving a stolen automated teller machine (ATM).

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor said officers responded around 4 a.m. Thursday morning to a report of someone who'd seen a truck pulling an ATM on the road that runs past Alabama One Credit Union.

She said officers arrived and found an abandoned truck with an ATM attached to a heavy chain.

Deputies with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office also responded with a K9 to assist in tracking, but no suspects had been located as of the publication of this story.
