Tuscaloosa Woman Reported Missing Over The Weekend

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's assistance locating a woman who has not been seen or heard from since Saturday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β€” The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for the public's assistance locating a woman who has not been seen or heard from since Saturday.

TPD said on Monday that the parents of Nathia Thomas, 28, spoke to her on Saturday, when they made plans to meet the following day.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor said her parents reported Thomas missing Sunday because she was not at her home on Claybrook Drive when they arrived and has not answered her phone.

Authorities do not suspect foul play, but TPD said it wanted to ensure her well-being.

Thomas' silver 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee was spotted in the Oxford area Sunday afternoon.
