Tuscaloosa Democrats To Host Women's March Ahead Of Presidential Election

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Democratic Party will host a Women's March in support of the party's presidential nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris on the eve of the 2024 presidential election.

The march will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2. at 10 a.m., beginning at the federal courthouse in downtown Tuscaloosa.

"The Women’s March is leading the charge to build a multi-racial democracy that serves us all equally," Tuscaloosa County Democratic Party Chair Judy Taylor told Patch. "What happens in 2024 will set the foundation for the next four to five decades of our children’s future and the future of our country will be determined by what we do this November."

The 2024 general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Polls will open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
