Tuscaloosa's GRO Earns Spot On Inc. 5000 List For Third Straight Year
Tuscaloosa-based marketing firm GRO has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list for the third consecutive year.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa-based marketing firm GRO has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list for the third consecutive year.

GRO was ranked No. 3,746 overall among the fastest-growing private companies in America and No. 34 in Alabama. The company reported 124% growth over the last three years.

"We're incredibly honored to make the Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row," GRO President Matt Pavlick said. "This achievement is a testament to our exceptional team's passion and dedication. Their relentless hard work, along with the support from our valued partners, has been instrumental in our success. We’re excited to continue our journey of growth and innovation."
LaunchTech, an IT services company in Huntsville, was ranked the highest among companies from Alabama, coming in at No. 269 overall.

GRO was also joined on the list by The Nine — a Tuscaloosa marketing and advertising firm that was ranked No. 3,1111 overall.
GRO first made it on the Inc. 5000 list in 2022 with a ranking of No. 157 overall and No. 4 in Alabama before being ranked No. 1,507 overall in 2023 and No. 16 in the state.
"Winning three times in a row is a remarkable feat," Senior Vice President of Agency Operations Justin Widmayer said. "When Matt and I first learned of our inclusion, we were thrilled. To achieve this again, I’m incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and hard work."
GRO pointed out that the Inc. 5000 class of 2024 features companies that have achieved significant revenue growth despite economic challenges such as inflation, rising capital costs, and hiring difficulties.
