UA Releases Schedule Of Events For Season Opener

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The University of Alabama is gearing up to kick off the 2024 football season as the Crimson Tide is set to host Western Kentucky on Saturday.

UA Athletics on Thursday released a detailed breakdown of scheduled events leading up to the game following what promises to be a day full of excitement for fans.

2 p.m. — Champions Lane and Coca-Cola Kickoff zone open.

2 p.m. — Tide volleyball vs. UT Martin at Foster Auditorium. Admission is free with an Alabama football ticket.

2:30 p.m. — Autographs by honorary team captains Wallace Gilberry and Tyrone Prothro at The Authentic.

2:30 p.m. — Alabama softball autographs at Champions Lane.

3:30 p.m. — Alabama soccer autographs at Champions Lane.

3:30 p.m. — Walk of Champions.

4 p.m. — Gates open in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

5 p.m. — Elephant Stomp at Gorgas Library.

6 p.m. — Kickoff against Western Kentucky.
