Uniontown Man Killed Thursday In Perry County Crash

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Uniontown man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Alabama Highway 183 in Perry County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the fatal two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:25 a.m. when the 2014 Subaru Outback driven by Thomas R. Long IV, 76, collided head-on with the 2021 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by a man from Jemison.

ALEA says Long was pronounced deceased at the scene, which was approximately 11 miles north of Uniontown.
