UWWA's Tocqueville Society Names Plasters 'Family Of The Year'
UWWA says the couple was recognized for their dedication to community service and philanthropy

TUSCALOOSA, AL β The United Way of West Alabamaβs (UWWA) Alexis de Tocqueville Society (ADT) on Tuesday announced that Jenny and Jordan Plaster have been named its Family of the Year Award recipients.

The nonprofit said the couple's story began with a chance encounter at a holiday party in Tuscaloosa, leading to a "lifelong partnership built on love and shared values."
UWWA also mentioned that the Plasters are devoted parents and grandparents while immersing themselves in various community activities, from coaching little league and keeping the stats to actively supporting local organizations.

What's more, Jordan Plaster's personal experience with hearing loss was mentioning, particularly with how it inspired his dedication to giving back. UWWA says Plaster found aid through organizations like Easter Seals, which shaped his resolve to make a positive impact.
Jordan and Jenny were referred to as a "driving force" behind numeral charitable initiatives such as arranging Honor Flights for war veterans through the Rotary Club to leading UWWAβs annual campaign to hit the $4 million mark for the first time.
Jenny Plaster was also praised for her passion for animal welfare.

We are honored to recognize their outstanding contributions with the Family of the Year award.β
