Visit Tuscaloosa Gearing Up For Super 7 At Bryant-Denny Stadium
The AHSAA Super 7 State Football Championships is set to return to Bryant-Denny Stadium next week, from Dec. 6-8.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Super 7 State Football Championships is set to return to Bryant-Denny Stadium next week, from Dec. 6-8.

The annual high school football state championships will be hosted in partnership with the City of Tuscaloosa and Visit Tuscaloosa, and will feature seven football and two flag football.

"It is an honor to welcome all of the Super 7 participants, their families and team supporters to Tuscaloosa," Visit Tuscaloosa President and CEO Kelsey Rush said. "Each of these student athletes has accomplished something special to reach this stage. We genuinely relish the opportunity to help provide an experience of a lifetime in Bryant-Denny Stadium that rewards the commitment they've shown to their teams and the pride shared by their schools, communities and families."
While matchups for the first day have been set, the remaining semifinals will be played across the state on Friday, Dec. 1.

Visit Tuscaloosa says the two flag football championships kick off Wednesday's games with Wenonah High School (Birmingham) and Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School facing off in the 1-5A game (1 p.m.) and Vestavia Hills High School facing Central High School (Phenix City) in the 6-7A championship game at 3 p.m.
To end the night on Wednesday at 7 p.m., Thompson High School and Central High School (Phenix City) will take the field for the 7A title game.
Visit Tuscaloosa encourages those attending the games on Wednesday to enter campus from the west to avoid road closures related to the presidential primary debate.
Parking will be available at UA's Tin Hoor parking lot, which is roughly one block north of the stadium.
