​Visit Tuscaloosa In Need Of Volunteers For Slate Of Fall Events

Visit Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced it is seeking volunteers to assist with a series of upcoming fall events.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Visit Tuscaloosa on Tuesday announced it is seeking volunteers to assist with a series of upcoming fall events.

The first event, the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic, will take place from Sept. 9 to 15, at the Ol' Colony Golf Complex. Volunteers are needed to help with the tournament, which Visit Tuscaloosa is co-hosting with Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA).

A $30 registration fee covers an official tournament golf shirt, two weekly grounds tickets, a lunch voucher, and one round of golf. Click here to register to volunteer.

Volunteers are also being sought for The Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest and 5K, which will be held at Druid City Social on Sept. 21. The 5K race will start at 9 a.m. and the festival at 10 a.m.

There is no cost to volunteer for Oktoberfest and participants will receive a free T-shirt, general admission to the festival, and access to food, beverages, and indoor restrooms. Those interested can sign up at Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest Volunteer. Click here to register.

The third major event on the schedule will be the Moundville Native American Festival, which will need volunteers from Oct. 3 to 5, at the Moundville Archaeological Park.
