Visit Tuscaloosa recently launched digital experience passes that offer a new way to check out some of the city's most popular attractions.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β€” Visit Tuscaloosa recently launched digital experience passes that offer a new way to check out some of the city's most popular attractions.

Visit Tuscaloosa says the free passes are designed to cater to the wide range of interests of visitors and residents, such as cultural landmarks to culinary adventures.

Visit Tuscaloosa President and CEO Kelsey Rush also said users are not required to download any software to utilize the passes. However, users are encouraged to install a shortcut allowing one-touch access.

β€œWe are excited to introduce several new opportunities for both visitors and residents to experience our community. These passes, which have been carefully crafted, serve as a gateway to a vibrant mix of attractions and activities in the Tuscaloosa area,” Rush said. β€œTourism product development is important in our role as a destination organization, and we look forward to the way these easy-to-use passes will enhance how people experience our dynamic community.”

Visit Tuscaloosa said the five passes included are:

Wings & White Sauce - A Bar-B-Que Trail

"An experience that rewards patrons for trying some of Tuscaloosa County's best-known food and most established culinary traditions. Some participating locations will offer a discount or add-on, and all of them will help you earn credits toward a limited-edition Wings & White Sauce t-shirt and a chance to win a gift card bouquet."

The TCL Public Arts Passport

"Visit incredible sculptures, murals and monsters in locations across Tuscaloosa to earn prizes and an entry in a drawing for a VIP experience at the 2024 Kentuck Festival of the Arts."

Cities of the SEC

"Now the best fans in the country can earn rewards for visiting their favorite college towns by checking in at the top restaurants, shops and attractions surrounding each gameday experience. This pass was created as part of the Cities of the SEC partnership."

Tuscaloosa All-In-One Ticket

"This three-day, multi-attraction pass, launched in partnership with the Alabama Tourism Department, opens doors to five of the best museums in the area and all of the adventures of Lake Lurleen State Park. This is the only pass that involves a cost to participate."

AL Mural Trail

"This state-wide trail, a project of the University of Alabama Center for Economic Development, offers a diverse set of murals in both urban and rural areas around the state, with several in Tuscaloosa County."
