TUSCALOOSA, AL — Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer is now 1-0 as his tenure in Tuscaloosa kicks off by way of a 63-0 blowout of visiting Western Kentucky Saturday night at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Despite the unranked opponent, the stakes were high Saturday night in Tuscaloosa as DeBoer coached his first game in the wake of the retirement of longtime coach Nick Saban.

The Tide will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 6, when the University of South Florida travels to Bryant-Denny Stadium for the second installment of its home-and-home series with Alabama.

Kickoff against USF is set for 6 p.m. and the game will broadcast on ESPN.
