Woman Hospitalized After Shooting At Skyland Boulevard Apartment Complex

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A woman has been hospitalized after a shooting was reported at an apartment complex off of Skyland Boulevard Saturday evening.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirmed to Patch that a woman was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center with injuries after officers were called to City Heights at Skyland at 5:30 p.m.

The status of the victim is unclear at this time and the investigation has been handed over to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.

A TPD spokesperson said a suspect is still being sought in the shooting and declined to provide any further details.
