• Nonprofit hub at former Vestavia Hills Elementary to open in spring (bhamnow.com) — A former Vestavia Hills Elementary Central campus is being transformed into “Hub in the Hills,” a shared home for nonprofits and a church plant set to open this spring. The $8 million project, already backed by $4.5 million in funding, will host Alabama Game Changers, Unless U, and Redemption Hill Church while providing collaborative, lower-cost space for community-focused work.
