Alyeska Resort issues "no mask no service" policy
Alyeska Resort plans to brave through with clear mask requirements.

COVID-19 is clearly not slowing down how everyone wants it to. With a total of nine thousand cases since Alaska began recording, businesses have been slowly inching its way back to normalcy. That said, some have been easier than others. Girdwood's Alyeska Resort won't shutter its doors since it ceased operations in March, but they do have some requirements.
Alyeska issued a warning that you will be turned away if you have no face mask. Much like other companies, they also note that there will be heavy cleaning of high-touch and high-traffic areas. Trams and chairlifts also will reduce its capacity. Trams will drop its capacity to 20 while chairlifts will be a maximum of two people. The lodge also requests that people respect the six-foot rule while waiting in line.
As expected, limited capacity will also seep into its restaurants and bars, which will allow eaters up to 45 minutes to enjoy their meal.

If you need to rent gear, you'll need to make a reservation. If you're considering it, you should know the gear is cleaned daily.
Overall, though, Alyeska Marketing Director Ben Napolitano doesn't think this will affect how people will enjoy the slopes and skiing.
