On January 14th, 2022 there was a large volcanic eruption in the South Pacific near Kingdom of Tonga that generated a Tsunami that hit the Islands of Tonga. This volcanic eruption and Tsunami has left families in Tonga with no homes, food, or water.

The Tongan community here in Alaska is so grateful for Mayor Bronson and his team’s connections. Matson has donated 200K lbs for Alaska to fill up with food, clothes, blankets, essential items, etc.

We are asking the community of Alaska to please donate whatever that you can. We have 1 week to fill up this 200K lbs Container. Within the flier, it will have the places and the person to contact.

For those who would like to donate but are not in Anchorage. You can still donate. Please drop off your donations to Alaska Airlines and they will be shipping them for FREE to Anchorage.
