  1. Can storytelling reunite divided communities? That is the question Anchorage Museum seeks to answer. Writer-in-residence and project leader Julia O’Malley has been collecting data from numerous interviews from people of all backgrounds.   3. An English teacher from Anchorage was thrown a surprise ceremony to receive a $25,000 national education award. Temperance Tinker-Kays is an English teacher at West Anchorage High School and recently received the prestigious Milken Educator Award. Tinker-Kays is the only recipient of this award in Alaska.
