1 Dead, 6 Others Wounded In Shooting At Phoenix Nightclub

Gunfire broke out early Sunday morning at an after-hours nightclub, police said.

PHOENIX, AZ — One man was killed, and another six hospitalized, in an early Sunday morning shooting at an after-hours nightclub.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Williams said multiple people called 911 about several gunshots they heard around 5 a.m. near 24th street and University Drive, according to reports from AZFamily and others.

The victims, all adult men, suffered gunshot wounds. Their conditions had not been released.

The identity of the fatal victim had not been released as of Sunday afternoon. The other six remained hospitalized.
