2 Children Rescued From Apartment Fire In Mesa
The children are now hospitalized after being pulled from burning apartments by a family member and a police officer.
MESA, AZ — Two children were rescued from a burning apartment building in Mesa Friday, according to a report from KTAR.
One of the kids was carried to safety by a family member and another was rescued from the flames by a police officer, ABC 15 reported. Both children were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The fire had spread to two second-floor apartment units at a complex near Gilbert Road and U.S. 60 when the Mesa Fire and Medical Department arrived, according to KTAR.
