1 Killed, 8 Injured In Phoenix Strip Mall Shooting
The victims range between ages 17 and 24, and the shooting started with an argument, police say.
PHOENIX, AZ — One person was killed and eight others were injured in a shooting at a strip mall in north Phoenix early Saturday, Phoenix police confirmed to Patch.
A woman, believed to be an adult, died after being taken to a hospital, and two other women suffered life-threatening injuries. Five men and a teenage boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. near 10th Avenue and Hatcher Road. There was a party with a large crowd at the strip mall, and the shooting started with an argument. The shooting took place inside, in the parking lot and in the road, police said.

People were fleeing in all directions when officers arrived, according to authorities.
