Accused Gunman At Phoenix Women’s Clinic Arrested

A man accused of pointing a gun at anti-abortion protestors at a Phoenix women's clinic Oct. 10 was arrested Friday.

PHOENIX, AZ ­– A man accused of aiming a gun at anti-abortion protestors outside a Phoenix women’s clinic Oct. 10 has been arrested, according to azfamily.com. The Phoenix PD reported on Facebook that the suspect was interviewed by police Thursday morning, Oct. 17, then arrested Friday morning, Oct. 18.

The Phoenix PD was alerted to the incident by a man who told officers that the suspect, whom he thought was a doctor, aimed a gun at him as the suspect drove away from the facility Oct. 10. After collecting evidence and interviewing other individuals, officers interviewed the suspect on Thursday, Oct. 17. Thereafter, police decided there was enough probable cause to take the suspect into custody.

Friday, Oct. 18, the man was arrested and booked on aggravated assault charges. Police haven’t released the suspect’s name.
