SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Scottsdale police have made an arrest in the murder of Allison Feldman. She was found naked and brutally beaten in her home on February 18, 2015.

Scottsdale police say that they arrested 42-year-old Ian Mitcham based, in part, on DNA evidence. They have not yet found a link between him and Feldman.

"We are one hundred percent confident we have the right suspect," said Scottsdale Assistant Police Chief Scott Popp said at a press conference announcing that Mitcham had been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Col. Frank Milstead of the Arizona Department of Public Safety said that using DNA found at the scene, they were able to use "familial DNA" to identify Mitcham's brother and from there, they were able to track down Mitcham.

Feldman had been last seen alive on Valentine's Day – four years before she was found dead.
