After protests that resulted in them getting much-needed raises, the celebration of teachers continues with Teachers Appreciation Week.

PHOENIX, AZ – It's been a rollercoaster couple of months for teachers in Arizona. What started out as a movement to raise awareness of a lack of funding for education and the fact that are among the lowest paid teachers in the country, turned a statewide historic strike.

It's Arizona Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Throughout the state, all sorts of businesses are offering all kinds of special deals for teachers. Here are five:
- Chipotle – On Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until closing, teachers and staff can present their id and get a buy-one-get free salad, burrito bowl, or order of tacos;
- Barnes& Noble – People enrolled in the educator discount program can get a 25 percent discount;
- SpaFinder – is offering discounts of 10 percent on purchases of $50 or more. Just use the code, Teachersday;
- Banana Republic – Is offering $15 percent off all purchases with this coupon;
- Culver's – Is offering disciunts for teachers. Check here for locations.
