Arizona Teachers Appreciation Week: Five Things To Do For Them

PHOENIX, AZ – It's been a rollercoaster couple of months for teachers in Arizona. What started out as a movement to raise awareness of a lack of funding for education and the fact that are among the lowest paid teachers in the country, turned a statewide historic strike.

So, what better way to follow up on a historic victory for teachers?

It's Arizona Teacher Appreciation Week.

• Throughout the state, all sorts of businesses are offering all kinds of special deals for teachers. Here are five:
• Chipotle – On Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until closing, teachers and staff can present their id and get a buy-one-get free salad, burrito bowl, or order of tacos;
• Barnes& Noble – People enrolled in the educator discount program can get a 25 percent discount;
• SpaFinder – is offering discounts of 10 percent on purchases of $50 or more. Just use the code, Teachersday;
• Banana Republic – Is offering $15 percent off all purchases with this coupon;
