Avoid Broadway Road From 19th To 27th Ave Because Of Fire: Police
The main body of the fire had been extinguished by mid-afternoon, but firefighters were still working to put out hot spots.

PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police are asking drivers to avoid Broadway Road in between 19th Avenue and 27th Avenue while the Phoenix Fire Department deals with a large fire at a scrap yard in that area.
The main body of the fire had been extinguished as of around 1:30 p.m. Monday, but firefighters were still working to put out hot spots that could rekindle and investigators were working to determine the cause of the blaze, according to a tweet from the fire department.
Broadway Road was shut between 19th Avenue and 27th Avenue Monday afternoon and police advised people to avoid the area for the next couple of hours.
