Police say that their investigation revealed that the infant had died from head trauma and it was ruled a homicide. They determined that while Centano had claimed that he had left the infant for just a moment while he grabbed some shower items out of the bathroom, no items had actually been removed.
Centano, who is currently on active duty with the Air Force, was booked into Maricopa County Jail and is charged with murder and child abuse.
