He Has Risen: Mom Uses Stun Device To Get Son To Easter Service
Sharron Dobbins was arrested after allegedly using a stun device on her son to get him up for church on Easter.

PHOENIX, AZ – All Sharron Dobbins wanted was for her sons to get up and get to Easter Service. It didn't go smoothly and she ended up in jail.
When her 17-year-old son was reluctant to get get going, police say that Dobbins used a Taser-like device to get him going. The teen, who was with his 18-year-old cousin, apparently had things that he wanted to do instead of going to church.
While Dobbins told police that she hadn't used the device on him, the teen had two small bumps on his leg.

"I don't think I did anything wrong because you're supposed to put God first and that's all I was trying to do is tell my kids to put God first."
While many parents undoubtedly would agree with her, for the police, it wasn't so simple. They arrested Dobbins and charged her with child abuse.
The police report says that the teen said he didn't want his mother prosecuted. His cousin said he was "unsure" if he would testify against his aunt.
Dobbins is due back in court on April 16. In the meantime, her son is staying with another relative, not allowed to see his mother.
